Marissa has been in the beauty industry since 2006.  She is a licensed cosmetologist and owner of Maven Independent Salon Studios. After running her own independent beauty business for several years in a variety of salon settings, she decided she wanted to do things differently. That's when the idea for Maven Independent Salon Studios was born. 

Marissa took this opportunity to redefine the options available for independent beauty professionals. She has become a strong advocate for ensuring each member of Maven Independent Salon Studios has the space and support they need to not only establish or grow their businesses, but to also give their guests and exceptional experience.
